Application Instructions
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
KTISOTOP is used for the waterproofing of terraces and roofs . It can be used on a range of surfaces such as concrete, cement mortar, masonry.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Thorough surface preparation is essential to ensure good adhesion. The surface must be dry and free of dust, loose material, mold. If you have washed the surface, make sure it is thoroughly dry before application.
It is recommended to prime the surface in order to ensure better adhesion. As a primer you can use KTISOPLAST diluted with water (in a ratio of 1:2). The primer dries within 2-3 hours and then KTISOTOP can be applied.
Filling cracks and joints can be done with acrylic mastic and allowed to dry for at least two hours.
Applying KTISOTOP
The product can be applied either by brush or roller . It is recommended to apply at least two coats . The estimated consumption is 500-600 gr/m2 per coat depending on the absorbency of the surface. The second coat can be applied after 24 hours.
Depending on the application, it is possible to dilute the material with water up to 10% of the original weight.
Performance
It is recommended to apply the material in two coats where the total consumption reaches 1kg/m2.
