PETROBLOK M is an innovative new technology water-based liquid product that is used as a sealer to impregnate marble as well as other mineral based surfaces (such as stone, unglazed terra cotta, concrete and brick). Petroblok Μ does not change the appearance of the surface. The product provides excellent oil and water repellency, stain resistance, and ease of cleaning.
The product impregnates the pores creating an invisible barrier on the surface of the product. This barrier then protects the surface from collecting dirt and stains.

Application of Product
Any surface to be sealed should be clean and stain-free. It may be impossible to remove stains or dirt after the surface has been sealed. The surface must also be free of waxes or other coatings. Any such existing coating must be removed prior to treating with Petroblok M. Ensure that the surface is completely dry when applying.
Thoroughly wet the surface being treated with the product and leave to stand for about 15-30 minutes. The application can take place either with a brush, roller, or a mop. After 15-30 minutes mop up any excess product that has not been absorbed.
It is highly recommended to apply a second coating to ensure total coverage of the surface.
Typical coverage rate is from 10 to 25 m² per liter. The optimum dilution rate should be determined for each application.
Always test any application of Petroblok M on a small area of the surface 24 hours before doing the project, to check that it will produce the desired result.

Maintenance and cleaning of marble surface
If there is spillage (chemicals, food, drinks) it is recommended to wipe up immediately, and clean surface with wet cloth. Do not let the surface collect dirt and grit. Dirt and grit do the most damage to natural mineral surfaces because their abrasiveness can scratch the surface. Make sure that any vacuum cleaners used do not have rough metal or plastic components that may further scratch the surface.

Petroblok M has been thoroughly tested against a number of food and drink substances such olive oil, ketchup, mustard, tea and instant coffee.
